Oahu is DELICIOUS and I want to make sure you eat RIGHT. We spent one week with our toddler, eating around this island. Majority of our time was in Honolulu, mainly in the Waikiki area, but we did venture up to the North Shore for an afternoon. Every bite –from gourmet and elegant at STRIPSTEAK Waikiki, to tasty and fast at THE STREET FOOD HALL, was fresh & unique–you don’t find flavor like this on the mainland!
I loved the ultra local specialities at HIGHWAY INN but also couldn’t get enough of those acai bowls and smoothies at DA COVE HEALTH BAR & CAFE.
Favorite dinner? I cannot choose between DUKE’S WAIKIKI, MOKU KITCHEN OR HIDEOUT AT THE LAYLOW. The food was great but so was the ambiance at each of these!
